Hello, King Dedede, Welcome to Wikipedia!
I hope you like working here and want to continue. If you need help on how to name new articles, look at Naming Conventions, and for help on formatting the pages visit the Manual of Style. If you need general help, look at Help and the FAQ, and if you can't find your answer there, check the Village pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions). There's still more help at the Tutorial and the Policy Library. Also, don't forget to visit the Community Portal — and if you have any more questions after that, feel free to post them on my New-Users' Talk Page.

Here are some extra tips to help you get around Wikipedia:
  • If you made any edits before you got an account, you might be interested in assigning those to your username.
  • If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills, try the Sandbox.
  • Click on the Edit button on a page, and look at how other editors did what they did.
  • You can sign your name using three tildes, like this: ~~~. If you use four, you can add a datestamp too. Always sign comments on Talk pages, never sign Articles.
  • You might want to add yourself to the New User Log
  • If your first language isn't English, try Wikipedia:Contributing to articles outside your native language
Happy editing!

Your message[edit]

Hello! Thanks for your message (but remember to sign, as explained above; I had to go into my page's History to find out who had sent me the message). I've moved the article; now it just needs to be wikified, and given a category and a stub. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 20:44, 5 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Olde English (sketch comedy)[edit]

Why did you mark this for speedy deletion? Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 18:09, 14 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Ah yes — but (now) why did you add information but leave the speedy delete? Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 18:38, 14 Apr 2005 (UTC)
I apologize. The web browser I am using is a bit archaic and is text based. If you see a delete tag to a file I am editing can you please take it off? King Dedede 21:41, 14 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Will do. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 22:08, 14 Apr 2005 (UTC)

101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventure;[edit]

OK — but why did you mark it for speedy deletion? Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 18:19, 14 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I was just tidying up the Category:Brands of beer (which was a mess), moving most of them to brewery entries instead. Generally breweries are more permanent than the brands of beer they produce, and I thought splitting the article worked better - Cristal as the champagne is much more well known than the (several) brands of beer, and articles that are about several differnt things are difficult to categorise. I am happy if you revert anything you dont like though - it was part of a big cleanup and I could have made mistakes. Any improvements welcome. Justinc 22:30, 15 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Beer Categories[edit]

It has been suggested by User:BrianSmithson that the Beer and brewery categories should be renamed. The proposal has been supported by User:Syrthiss, and supported and expanded by myself. The notion is that the regional categories should follow the format of "Beer and breweries in Africa" /Europe/Asia/North America/South America/Oceania. "Brewers and breweries" could also be renamed "Beer and breweries by region". And all the countries should also be renamed (and merged if needed) as, for example, "Beer and breweries of Germany", "Beer and breweries of Britain", "Beer and breweries of Poland". The word in each case would be beer rather than beers to allow for general articles on beer culture in each region as well as individual beers.

Roscoe's House of Chicken 'n Waffles[edit]

Nuvola apps important yellow.svg

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Roscoe's House of Chicken 'n Waffles, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
